Becca Taylor, MEd, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Rebecca (Becca) Taylor is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over seven years experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities.  She started her journey as a Behavior Technician in Dearborn and Detroit, MI.  After quickly falling in love with ABA, she obtained her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.  Becca obtained a Bachelors of Arts from Saginaw Valley State University and Masters of Education with Emphasis in ABA from University of Cincinnati.  Becca has advanced training and special interests in functional communication strategies, research procedures, staff on-boarding and training, individual and group supervision, and parent training.  Becca plans to continue her education and obtain a doctorate in psychology in the future.  Outside of the ABA world, Becca enjoys rustic camping, reading, volunteering, watching Netflix, anything Star Wars, and spending time with her son. 

Jesenia Soto, MA, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Jesenia Soto is a Clinician and earned her masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a focus on Autism in December 2018 through Ball State University. Jesenia earned her board certification on February 2019. She has worked in the field for 5 years, 4 of those years she was a line therapist. She has experience working with children ages 2-15. She enjoys spending her free time painting, taking walks, and going to visit family. She joined A&C’s team on September 2019.

Jessica Darner, BCaBA
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst

Jessica Darner is a BCaBA and received her bachelors degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. One of her favorite things about working with the children at the center is seeing them smile and get excited as they develop their skill set. She recently moved up north and is enjoying the reprieve from the southern heat. On her time off she loves to read and spend time outside with her dog, Gabe.

Kara Wilson, BCaBA
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst

Kara Wilson is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and a certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with over six years experience working with and advocating for individuals with disabilities. Kara has experience working with both vocal and non-vocal children from ages three to nineteen. Before becoming a BCaBA, Kara assisted young adults with autism spectrum disorders to find and maintain meaningful employment. She is passionate about helping clients develop functional living skills to promote independence later in life.

Lindsay Schmidt, BCaBA
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst

Lindsay Schmidt is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), who obtained her certification following coursework completion at Florida Institute of Technology in 2018.  In 2011, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University.  Lindsay has always had a passion for working with children and helping them to achieve their developmental milestones, which led her from working with high school athletes to working as a behavior therapist in 2016.  She plans to further her education by pursing a Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, while focusing on areas such as:  individualized development and implementation of skill acquisition programs, language and communication skills (verbal and with the use of various communication aids), functional behavior assessments, development of behavior intervention plans, training within the natural environment and community, and self-help skills.
